Long-time peninsula resident Bill Lewis brings a wealth of local knowledge and success to his position as manager of the Los Altos and Woodside offices, which together, have over 135 agents. The Los Altos office has consistently ranked among the the top four Alain Pinel offices for sales volume and transaction sides, while the Woodside office consistently ranks as the leading office in the Woodside market.
For more than 34 years, Bill has led and managed real estate offices in the luxury and upper-end "Mid-Peninsula" market. Prior to joining Alain Pinel Realtors in January 2007, he managed the Coldwell Banker Woodside office where he and his team produced record performances year-after-year and was the first Coldwell Banker office to achieve 1 billion in sales volume. In 2015 Bill accepted the management position of the Woodside office, for Alain Pinel Realtors, in addition to his responsibilities in the Los Altos office. He began his real estate career in 1981 with Wright & Co. in Menlo Park, transferred to Fox & Carskadon shortly thereafter and entered management with Fox & Carskadon in 1984 in their Redwood City office. Bill moved to the Woodside office in 1993 and remained as manager of that office after the acquisition of Fox & Carskadon by Coldwell Banker in 1995. Bill has vast experience in working with highly-accomplished real estate professionals, clients and properties in the upper-end markets of the Mid Peninsula.
Bill has served on the board of directors for the California Association of Realtors and the Menlo-Atherton District Chair of the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors. In addition and through his professional associations, he has served on numerous committees in support of social and charitable events that benefitted Peninsula residents. In 2004, Bill was the Menlo-Atherton Realtor of the Year.
Bill grew up in San Carlos and for many years was active in 4-H and the San Mateo County Horseman's Association. His family raised quarter horses and had a registered Angus cattle ranch in the San Joaquin Valley town of Oakdale. Bill graduated from Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo in Agricultural Business Management in 1975. After graduation, he worked for Bullock's at Stanford managing and working in the buying offices of the Men's Department before entering real estate. He lives in Menlo Park.
